I was reasonably healthy, had never smoked, and was not overweight. I did not engage in any special exercise. I was however a walker. I was told that I had a weak heart valve and that exercise would probably strengthen it. LJ’s set up a program of exercises that were suitable. My weight and BFI were within the normal range. Lynn has suggested additional exercise during my years of membership. Subsequent tests involving my heart have shown an improvement in the heart valve problem.

Our Owners & Trainers

Lynn Kreider

Lynn brings over 30 years of personal training experience to her clients. Just some of her personal accomplishments are being a championship body builder, world record power lifter, a 200 hour certified yoga instructor, a certified nutrition specialist and she has held a multitude of personal training certifications and was nominated one of the top 15 trainers in the country by PFP in 2015.

Tim Kreider

Tim is a certified personal trainer, yoga instructor and Silver Sneakers group fitness instructor. He is a black belt in Tang Soo Do karate and has completed a traditional marathon and off road 26-mile trail run. Tim brings a knowledge and understanding to his clients that can only be obtained through years of experience, education and a commitment to being the best at what you do.

Our History

In 1989 LJ’s Fitness opened with the goal of sharing Lynn’s love for fitness with others.

Today, Lynn, her husband Tim, and the LJ’s Fitness staff are able to meet the needs of anyone interested in fitness: whether you’re just beginning your fitness journey (no matter what your age or level of fitness), are a regular at the gym or are an experienced athlete that wants to get to the next level, LJ’s Fitness is able to help you reach your goals!

Lynn and Tim bring over 35 years of fitness experience (body building, power lifting, yoga, endurance training, martial arts training and nutrition certifications) to work with their clients. Lynn, Tim and their staff are dedicated to creating a community where everyone feels welcomed and equipped to meet their goals.
